Although Sateen takes every step necessary to assure accurate representation of  items displayed online, the colours of fabrics ordered through our website cannot be guaranteed by us due to colour variances beyond our control, such as variances in monitor colour settings. For this reason, when ordering online we strongly recommend that its customers purchase swatches for a small fee before the final purchase of material to avoid any inconveniences that may arise due to inaccurate colour matching.
We aim to do everything possible to provide our customers with the best service.  If for any reason, you are not satisfied with the quality of our products or services, please e-mail us at your earliest convenience and we will try to accommodate you within the guidelines of our policies.

Sateen strives to satisfy our customers by providing the highest quality fabrics but  from time to time, defects in fabrics may be found. In these cases, we strongly recommend that you contact us as soon as the defect is noticed. After 30 days from your original invoice date we will no longer consider items for return.
In order to receive a full refund, a returned material and a copy of the original order invoice must accompany the returned item. We, at Sateen, reserve the right to deny any refunds for fabrics that have been cut or altered.
Refunds will be issued upon receipt of the returned item. Refunds will be processed against the original form of payment. Original shipping cost will be refunded on defective items only.
Sateen is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged in transit. However, in most cases Sateen is willing to work with the carrier to rectify the problem.
Sateen Fabrics does not exchange items. We strongly suggest that you purchase a swatch of the desired fabrics for a small fee before purchasing the material.
Special Order items cannot be returned, under any circumstances.


Sateen does not provide personally identifiable information to third parties for their use in marketing directly to you. 

Sateen maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to help guard personally identifiable information. Sateen restricts authorised access to your personal information to those persons who have a legitimate purpose to know that information to provide products or services to you and those persons you have authorised to have access to such information. 

We prefer to keep your personal information accurate and up-to-date. To do this, we provide you with the opportunity to update or modify your personal information including billing and shipping information by logging into your account. 

Sateen reserves the right to modify or supplement this policy at any time. If a material change to the terms of this policy is made, Sateen will post a notice on its home page and a link to the new policy.
